Owners Lisa and Patrick McKay share a passion for,
and an addiction to, the coffees of the world. The time-honored
craft of roasting, the art of making the perfect cappuccino, and the
tradition of the coffeehouse, inspired them. |
| While they played music together in local coffee and
art houses, Lisa became a 12 year veteran of "slingin" espresso,
working in and managing coffeehouses in the Phoenix area. A desire
to provide world class service and coffees, and a little caffeine,
fueled them. |

Lisa and Patrick opened Mama Java's Coffeehouse with
the intention of putting the artists and musicians in the spotlight.
Mama Java's Coffeehouse features an intimate stage with lighting and
an in-house P.A. system along with a gallery room lit to accentuate
the art on display. |
